Navigating the LinkedIn Mobile App – Overview

You can navigate between tabs on the LinkedIn mobile app by tapping the icons in the navigation bar.

Tapping on your profile picture in the top left allows you to access your profile, account settings, and information about who’s viewed your profile. You can also access updates you’ve shared and in-app notifications about discussions in LinkedIn Groups, your endorsements, and more.

The  Home tab contains your LinkedIn feed with posts and articles from your connections, groups, and companies you follow. You can share text, links, and photos to be seen by others You can follow or unfollow companies and people to get the updates you want. Learn more about managing your feed in the mobile app.

The  My Network tab contains invitations people have sent to connect with you and a full list of your LinkedIn connections. You can also add connections from suggested People You May Know or from your mobile device’s contacts.

The  Messaging tab provides a casual way to have professional conversations with your connections. You can send and receive messages from your 1st degree connections, send multiple InMail to your 2nd and 3rd degree connections, and ensure you’re connected to members at all times.

The  Notifications tab provides a daily briefing on what’s happening in your network. This includes job changes, work anniversaries, birthdays, pre and post-meeting updates, and new articles that your connections have published. You’ll also receive notifications about your endorsements, who’s viewed your profile, activity on content you’ve shared, and more. You can delete, unfollow, or turn off notifications for updates you don’t wish to be notified about. Learn more about notifications in the LinkedIn mobile app.

The  Jobs tab contains your saved jobs, jobs you’ve applied to, jobs you may be interested in, and companies in your network. You can also search and apply for job opportunities by title, keyword, or company.
